Meet our team of experts
Every member of the Clear Advice Mortgage Services team plays a vital role in meeting and occasionally exceeding our clients' expectations. Here they are;
Angie Humby
Office Manager
Angie has worked for the company since 2016. She has become the ‘glue’ that holds everything together. Angie chases your applications, makes sure appointments are booked and attended and (very) occasionally makes the tea! Usually, Angie will be the first voice you hear when you call us and the person who answers your emails. Outside work, Angie loves to spend time with her family and her two dogs.
Office Snack: Chocolate (any kind, as long as it’s not too cheap!)

Hayley Furlong
Mortgage & Protection Advisor
Hayley has worked for the company since 2016. Hayley started as Illya’s assistant, but quickly proved her strengths as an advisor. Since 2019 Hayley has been advising and has quickly become the ‘go to’ advisor for first-time buyers and home movers who love her patient and methodical approach. Recently Hayley has taken on some of the compliance responsibilities in the company. Outside of work, Hayley is a bit of a gym junkie and loves time with her family and her dog.

Illya Simpson
Director
Illya’s time in the industry began in 1994, working for Insurance companies and then Corporate Estate Agents. There have been a lot of changes since then, but one thing that has never changed is his determination to look after clients. One of his (many!) mantras is “if you set out to do the right thing by your client then you probably will”. This is embedded in the ethos of the company. Outside of work, Illya plays in a band and enjoys time with his dog.

Juliet Henstridge
Mortgage & Protection Advisor
Juliet joined the team in 2023 and brought nearly 20 years of industry experience with her. She loves looking after every type of client from inexperienced first-time buyers to knowledgeable portfolio owners. Juliet also specialises in ‘later life’ and Equity Release mortgages. Juliet joins the team just as the demand for our client-focused mortgage and financial planning services is higher than ever. Juliet’s attention to detail and focused approach perfectly matches our company values.

Tim Harris
Financial Planner
Tim has been with the company since 2008 and has vast industry experience. Tim is the senior advisor in the company and whilst happy to arrange mortgages and protection, he now focuses on wealth management, pension planning savings and investments. As we develop this side of the business Tim’s expert but clear understanding of investment strategies, tax management and investing add huge value for all of our customers. Outside of work, Tim is an accomplished sailor and musician.
